And if you’re into events, we love bringing everyone together—because what’s better than good times and great company?

Our story? Oh, it’s a good one. Once upon a time (okay, back in 1776), we were a coaching inn, perfectly perched near the beauty of Richmond Park and the River Thames. Since then, we’ve been East Sheen’s go-to spot for families, friends, and yes—your furry pals too.

Come as our guests, leave as our friends and you can bring the dog too.

Just a short train from Waterloo station, there are many reasons why our pub garden is worth the visit! Whether it be for the buzzing atmosphere the locals of East sheen, Richmond and Barnes bring, our garden kitchen which serves us the freshest, seasonal and British dishes, our outdoor bar which ensures you stay hydrated (and merry) on those warm summer days, and let’s not forget about all of the incredible events Lisa throws in the garden.
You can book your garden table or hut, or come early and grab a walk-in table (we always keep a few).

Being a community pub, we are here for all sorts of occasions, whether that be a big birthday bash, an work gathering in one of our gorgeous garden huts, a celebration of life, and even weddings (we love to be there for the big milestones!). Just like our food menu, we like to keep our drinks menu seasonal too! Bring on vibrant and tasty Spritz where the non-alcoholic options are just as good, refreshing, crisp and trendy lagers, and embrace the hand-picked whites and rosés this summer! Feeling thirsty?
